Some of you have asked me over the phone about our Baby Registries. We updated the mailing address for the Amazon.com/BabiesRUs registry so stuff will go to Craig's mother in Utah. Here's an URL to get to that registry:

The Target registry can be accessed by going to

We're still in the process of switching our address with Target so the items will be shipped to Utah.

transitioning to PhD
Hey Laura, thanks for the suggestion. I'm actually transitioning to my PhD right now, but I'm considering my options... I'd love to be able to finish the 4-5 months I need to complete medical school, but if Tulane gets back up and running in the next year, that would probably hurt my agreement to complete the MD/PhD there (and possibly mean having to pay back the tuition waivers). Texas resident
I have a very dear friend in Texas. I need to get in touch with him or go over my chats/email to find out exactly where. Obviously TX is a very large state, so it would matter where. I don't know what the chances are of his wife accepting strange guests, especially since I've never met her and my friend is stationed at Ft. Hood right now. I'll check into it. Nice to hear from you. Thanks for the suggestion, Pam. I think things might be clearing up for us to head over to Utah and stay with Craig's mom. She's got enough room in her house for us, the baby, and our cats, so it's really an ideal situation as long as I'm cleared by insurance to use the hospital over there (without ridiculous $4k fees).Take care!
